Marketing is increasing in significance for most businesses as we compete globally and the Governance capability across the Board and Executive team needs to keep pace, and apply the same rigour to marketing and sales decisions, that have always been applied to the likes of compliance and capex decisions.

With the unique combination of experiences in both executive roles across the public and private sector, working with small and large entities, and general management as well as specialty marketing roles, this lens has reinforced the view that companies seeking growth and sustained performance would do well to have a robust marketing strategy.
