We all know that change is the only constant, and the pace of change seems to be increasing. The age-old change advice can work, such as these 10 principles, however I fundamentally disagree with the order of this. When it comes to the first steps in a change project, they should be:
 
1. Scope the change, what is in and what is out, and get cyrstal clear on what success looks like for the change.
 
2. Engage with people who actually understand the impact ie: do 3,6 and 10 from the below image - engage key stakeholders quickly, openly and transparently. Listen to what they say. Then adapt accordingly!
