Scheduling Posts Ahead of Time

You can now schedule posts for your Facebook page ahead of time, or back date posts to flesh out your page. I recommend you allocate an hour or so each week to create your Facebook posts for the week and schedule them, then check in once a day to respond to any comments and feedback.

To schedule a post all you need to do is click the clock symbol at the bottom left of the box and choose the date and time you want the post to be published (refer image below).

Just keep track of what you’ve already scheduled so you don’t accidentally post the same update twice. You can check the ‘Activity Log’ which lists all your upcoming posts.

Exporting Events to Your Calendar

You can export your Facebook events so that they appear in your Outlook, iCal and Google calendars. Go to your events page, click on the top right drop-down icon and then click on “Export Events…”
